KLAUS 2019 | Dir. Sergio Pablos
Just finished my annual rewatch of Klaus and I love all the subtle worldbuilding nods to how Jesper has become a member of the town's community over the course of the film
He knows when the bakery has a sale on. He knows the arson rates for the area, despite living out of town. The couple in the Christmas market scene know him by name.
And I also love the subtle establishing that all the kids know Klaus is by name and can recognise him when they see him - he's their local cryptid even before he started delivering presents
Klaus fandom?? Hello???
hi klaus nation
Concept Art of Klaus
whatever man. happy holidays!
I'm watching Klaus again because 'tis the season, I love that when Jesper asks about the reception you can see the exact moment that Mogens realises he has the opportunity to do the funniest thing in the history of Smeerensburg
