IDK IDK my knee-jerk reasoning for shipping the two of them together is because Ryunosuke is my little scrunkly and I like to ship him with everyone (especially hot older men with deep-seated issues). But I started digging deeper and am kinda piecing together an actual au for this!! I don't have the logistics down for every little detail yet, but in my brain Klint survives and continues doin' his thing, and Ryunosuke gets wrapped up in the continuing conspiracy and has to figure out what on earth is going on with this Professor business... while also falling in love with the sexy prosecutor. Much tragedy and drama to be had.
Maybe I'll write fic for it, idk. I definitely know I'm going to do more art for them though!
