I finished #listeningto #wehadalittlerealestateproblem by #kliphnesteroff today. What a fabulous book! I really enjoyed learning about #indigenouscomedians throughout history and all the circumstances happening at the time of their rise, the well known comedians that tried to help, etc. It lead me down a rabbit hole on YouTube searching out each comedian to see them live performing their sets. It’s one thing to read parts of their sets, it’s a whole other experience to see them do it. There are a few more that I need to look up and I can’t wait to get to them. Who doesn’t need a laugh right now? #readthisbook then look them up and see them live. I've heard Kliph Nesteroff talk about his book, "The Comedians," on a couple of my favorite podcasts, @danagould and @gilbertpodfried, and I looked forward to reading it. Checked it out from the @palatinelibrary, and it was worth the wait. It's comprehensive and revealing.
