New November show added: Kas Product live in Odense 28/11
It's been a busy couple of weeks. Saturday the 16th of November we relaunched Totentanz with concerts from Berlin-based Keluar and the local acts MOTH and Smitstof. They were all great! Smitstof opened their night with industrial-sounding percussion and lots of noise, MOTH followed up on that with their great dark post-punk mixed with atmospheric synths. Keluar ended the night with their really cool and unique sound. Lots of people dancing during the concerts which made me happy. It was a stressfull night though, as nothing seemed to work at the venue and we couldn't find the equipment.
A few days before the concert I was interviewed by the cultural website Alternative Copenhagen about the Totentanz night. If you're interested you can read it here!
The following Saturday we finally had another Klub Golem party. Zombina and the Skeletones and Ras Bolding played some really cool concerts. The two of them fitted together really well as they're both doing some kind of weird B-movie thingy. I really enjoyed the Zombina and the Skeletones concert and they were nice people. Hope to book them some other time.
Right now I'm working on future Totentanz parties; In January Marta will return to Copenhagen, this time with her new project Monowelt, No More will play Stengade on the very last day of February, and Italian deathrock act Dystopian Society will play their first concert in Scandinavia. I'm looking forward to all of these nights!
I haven't purchased a lot of records this month, only three: Lenses by Soft Metals and an album and a single with Zombina and the Skeletones.
