Rushed-houred through it

The plans I thought I had

Shake me

Make me strong like you

Finding something new

Something raw

Something deep

Something not asking me to lose sleep over dreams

Of smiling

Of breathing

Of waking to fill the day

With love, with art, with forever is enough

Forever is enough keeps coming up

Coming up

In early morning writing

In early morning sighing

Hoping its enough

Scared

Awake

In love

Contained

Break me free of these chains

I’ve already seen forever I’ve already met her mother I’ve hugged her, Smothered her Set her free, wild, and careless

I’ve know her face as a child I’ve known her calm and wild I’ve soothed her Booed her Laughed, danced, and wished with

I’m already in love with I’m already in bed with Enthralled with, bored with Committed to learning with The love I call Myself

There is no calm before the storm No warning warning warning Of what is yet to come

No message in a bottle From a land far, far away

No crystal ball divination That your love is gonna stay

But there is a touch I’ve felt, I know it when its right There is a silence here That let’s me know its all, all right

This feeling inside I’ve been racing for days For hours and weeks and months just waiting to feel the rain

I’m heeding I’m needing These rhymes are repeating Repeating

No calm before the storm No warning warning warning Of the nights about to come

I’m shaking, breaking, nervous wrecking to myself

The falling falling falling down of everything I’ve withheld
