Fortunate Disorder is another KagaKuro doujinshi by shizero (at 42 pages), published last year. Lovely colors in that cover - I feel like I can stare at it all day! (Link in the source should you want to purchase a copy.)

We have the Seirin first years hanging out in an arcade...

...and Kuroko’s eyeing that Taiga tiger keychain, it seems. (Is it supposed to be a lucky charm?)

Apparently he doesn’t snag one, because the next day he enters the locker room not with a cute tiger, but a...

(Google says it’s called an ichimatsu doll. I’m not sure if they’re supposed to bring/ward off good or bad luck.)

Seirin is worried for some reason; Kuroko places the doll in Kagami’s(?) locker.

But Kagami is freaked out by the doll and does the unthinkable...

Thus starts a series of unfortunate events for our boy Tetsu.

Kagami realized what he’s done.

Kuroko’s bad luck continues.

Somewhere, in Kagami’s internal theater, he’s probably worried that Kuroko will have a lifetime of misfortune, lol.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, so Kagami consults the most experienced person on this...

Yup, Midorima.

I couldn’t figure out if Midorima advises him, or Kagami realizes his next step on his own: to always be by Kuroko’s side and protect him from danger.

Kagami-kun, stop, you’re gonna hurt yourself

Good as his intentions were, it didn’t work: Kuroko meets an accident while in the very presence of Kagami :(

Kagami goes back to the arcade to win the tiger charm, to counter the bad luck??

As advised by Midorima, it looks like. (lol @ Midorima’s lucky item)

Kuroko finds Kagami there. I’m not sure, I’m guessing he says Kagami-kun shouldn’t be too superstitious?

But no matter. Because we see this in Kuroko’s bag later on.

Kuroko reminisces about a conversation with Midorima back in Teikou (getting educated about fate, probably), and I’m guessing Kuroko’s happy that fate brought him and Kagami together (∫˘⌣˘)∫˚°◦•♥

Oh and Kuroko’s on his way to a streetball game during the last scene. I want to point that out because Kagami’s in a cap again

Is Kuroko fainting?? Dying??

Prior to that dramatic intro, Kuroko and Kagami meet up at Maji. Are they going as friends?? Maybe even as a couple?? Somebody who can read Thai please explain, my crops are dying

Don’t you love it when artists stick to the Kuroko-in-stripes, Kagami-in-plaid theme XD

Actually let’s zoom in on Kagami’s attire:

Very stylish, heh heh. Complete with cap too! (Fun fact, this artist likes drawing Kagami in different kinds of headgear, as seen in their other comics)

Even though Kuroko is shown standing in front of the Maji counter before Kagami arrives, he doesn’t seem to have bought anything. And so, the first time Kagami sees Kuroko that day is when Kuroko collapses into a hedge. I guess Kuroko has some kind of condition (maybe heat related or diabetes or anemia, but probably something diabetic because of the title? Or maybe, it’s malnutrition courtesy of Kuroko’s preference for vanilla shakes and only shakes).

Kagami buys him ice cream (Kuroko has one, Kagami is shown holding two popsicle sticks lol) as they recharge in a park.

They talk; Kagami says something that makes Kuroko sparkle (!) with happiness or satisfaction.

Then they head to Maji.

Unfortunately Kuroko experiences a second attack and faints once more! But Kagami is there again, to the rescue, this time with health drinks.

Love the running gag XD

(I think) Kuroko feels that he’s already burdening Kagami and (maybe) suggests that they cancel their not-date already.

But Kagami won’t have any of it.

I wonder if the artist drew Kagami in a cap just for this gesture, lol.

The not-date continues!

Later, Kuroko experiences a third attack. Luckily they’re near a Maji so Kagami just decides to buy food there. Even if there’s a...

With a head tap and a smile, Kagami leaves Kuroko to brave the Japanese Breaktime Rush.

But there’s just not enough time--Kuroko faints, and Kagami rushes him to a clinic/hospital (hence the opening page).

Kuroko wakes up in a hospital bed; he’s fine, though. Fine enough to hear Kagami’s sermon.

Fast forward to Kagami’s apartment, where the two are having a hefty and healthy dinner.

The last two pages are of Kuroko being cute--probably thanking Kagami for taking care of him--thus causing Kagami embarrassment 🙏

For some reason, Coach asks the team to document their daily lives(?) via smartphone photos.

A list of reasons why they’re all not qualified for taking candid shots...except for one person.

Misdirection is pretty useful

The task falls into Kuroko’s hands. And because he and Kagami are inseparable, there will be photos of him.

Kagami even volunteers to take a selfie of them?!

Now back to the beginning. I guess Kuroko wanted to document Kagami’s POV while dunking, hence the pose.

What can go wrong, right?

Of course it’s not gonna work: they fall.

But they’re having so much fun!! What’s physical pain

After some time, Kuroko accumulates a folder’s worth of Seirin photos.

As well as a folder named Untitle[d].

At school, Kuroko burns the photos to a CD, to be handed over to Coach. But Kagami catches him and gets curious over the “Untitled” folder (which contains stolen shots of him, just him).

What happen next based on the drawings (when is Google Translate going to recognize Thai characters in photos ugh):

Kagami confronts Kuroko about it (there may or may not be a confession in there)

Kuroko agonizes about it that night

The next morning, he encounters Kagami at the school’s gate

It’s a little awkward between them

Koganei just had to barge in, shouting from the second floor window and waving about an envelope

Kagami freaks out

The envelope slips from Koganei’s hands

There’s a shower of photos from said envelope

Turns out Kagami commissioned Mitobe to take said photos

Kuroko’s not angry or disgusted; he’s just blushing.

I can’t figure out how the story wraps up, sorry! Because the final page is mostly text. But from the feel of it, it’s not a sad ending.

Because of the amount of Seirin, Kagami, Kuroko and KagaKuro “snapshots”, this one’s got to be my favorite from the shizero batch (even if by the end I still have no idea why the title’s that way, haha).

The story opens with the members of the Seirin team being ordered by Riko to run through the school grounds.

While their teammates are dying because of Coach, somehow Kuroko and Kagami are...?

Flashback to why all of this is happening: during lunch, Coach notices (?) how unhealthy her team eats (sorry, this is 80% guesswork because I can’t read Thai).

Although we don’t need to be fluent to understand this:

She sends them running to buy onigiri?? And yet Kagami and Kuroko end up hiding in a balcony--

They have a serious conversation about what, I have absolutely no idea XD

At home, Kagami studies recipes but doesn’t seem to make a bento for school the next day, even though the team now brought their own lunch boxes.

Kuroko follows Kagami home.

Probably asking “Where?” IDK, my brain has turned mush from the cuteness of Kuroko ;;

Kagami reluctantly gives him something so sweet (no spoilers, sorry!), he made Kuroko...!

Of course, Kagami can’t handle that.

Yesterday’s photos were embarrassing, so I just scanned these covers by shizero. Pretty, right?

Recently I came across HOMU.in.th, which is like a Thai version of Toranoana. You can find doujinshi (most are in Thai, some are in Japanese or English), keychains, badges, notebooks, mugs, all sorts of fan merch, really! They ship internationally and accept PayPal. Wish I discovered the site earlier, because while the online shop lists almost a hundred KNB merch, only a third of them are in stock :(

So I gave it a go. Honestly I wanted to hoard all the KNB items, but the shipping fee! It seems that if your purchase totals more than a kilo, they will ship it in a box, which exceeds my budget. I had to bookmark a lot of stuff for later.

Here’s what I could fit in an envelope:

I have my “home” ships, but if the art/writing is good even if it’s a meh ship I will read it anywho.

The KagaKuro works of shizero/rainyrainymoon. Looking at the pastels already gives me the fuzzies! That’s how pretty the covers are. I apologize for my worthless camera and photography skills for not giving them justice. (Update: here!) Even though I know zero Thai and Google Translate does not have character recognition for Thai yet, over the next few weeks I will attempt to “read” these doujinshi. Should be fun!
