shops for groceries: Rei, of course, because it’s good practice on his Mandarin so he can deal with Festo’s flunkies and so Festo doesn’t end up blowing the equivalent of 100 USD on sweets or trying to kill someone for hitting on him

kills the spiders: Both of them. Usually Rei, because he’s faster or Festo’s occupied with paperwork.

comes home drunk at 3am: Neither, because Kite has a ban on Festo from going into his basement bar, Rei doesn’t drink that often, and Festo would only drink if it’s with someone else and in Kite’s basement bar. The events of Misery Loves Company doesn’t count.

makes breakfast: whoever wakes up first, or whoever manages to untangle themselves from the other and get out of bed first.

remembers to feed the fish: Neither, they’re got the servants to do that.

decorates the apartment: Festo, because he technically owns the place. Though Rei is always one for stealing finding little knicknacks to add.

initiates duets: Festo, actually because whenever he thinks he’s alone, he’ll start singing a bit. And then Rei appears out of nowhere and joins in.

falls asleep first: They usually try to wait for the other to come home/get to bed before falling asleep. Usually it’s Festo that falls asleep first, because he has to deal with paperwork and PEOPLE and once it’s just him and Rei or him and Liuwang he’s free to relax and he’s out like a light.
