I have the bottle of water conditioner for the aquariums right next to my bottle of water, place your bets how long will it take before i accidentally take a swig of the aquarium juice.

This morning my hard-drive corrupted causing me to lose a vast majority of my art files.

I should probably be more upset than I currently am. But the only part that I'm really sad about is that I lost the full sized non-watermarked files for my prints, which means for some of them I will not be able to get reprints.

Art might slow down a bit while I try to recover from this.

Alright gonna be starting a new project soonish. Gonna need to get input, so...

Fishkeepers! No matter your skill level. What are things you wish you knew when you first got into the hobby? What tips and tricks would you give people just starting our or that are thinking of getting into the hobby?

Alternatively: People new to the hobby or that would like to pick up the hobby at some point. What are things you'd like to know? Questions you may have? Thing that you think if you knew could make things more manageable for you?

Doesn't matter how well known the thing may be, how much of a stupid question you might think it is, I will not tolerate any gatekeeping of the hobby here.

I will be making informational posters on fishkeeping, mostly aimed at people getting into the hobby, but that could hopefully be used by people of all skill levels.

Digital versions of said posters will be available for free for anyone, I do not wish to paywall information regarding this topic.

I may make physical versions at some point, although those would be paid. They wouldn't include any new information that isn't in the free versions, hell I'd probably donate profits from those to local fish stores in my area.

I'd like to be able to draw more stylized robots, I feel like my robots look incredibly stiff and bland. Idk I'm not the best at words.
