Finally done! This is my largest/longest project to date. Nearly 200 hours.
Finally enough squares (or hexagons)!
Pinned together. Now just have to figure out the best way to attach them ...

After the fire my lovely daughter grabbed the blanket I had been working on at the time. She knew I would need to have yarn in my hands even more. The blanket and the yarn were not singed and after some cleaning and polishing the needles were ok too. But oh did it smell! So after months in a bag with some charcoal and essential oils I believe it's fit to come out in public again. So here is my plan for the evening ...
I know I said I was not going to knit another blanket. Working full time and going to school full time, a blanket is a ridiculous project. So why? Because my grown son brought me a bag of yarn and said I thought of you 💜😭
