The child probably enjoyed the crystal as much as you did and thought they found a real treasure. Accept that you won't get it back more than likely and try to enjoy the fact that you may have just enriched a child's life with a little bit of magic. I'm sure it was harmless really ;)

Like it can be a little hard, i’ve always been weird about losing things, but really thank you, That was just the kind of unbiased view i needed x
Also the one my Mum got me has been a big help, I cleansed it and have had it with me since, just a little good vibes for exams, seeing things in a better light just such a weight lifted
