(ep. 4) I love the dual meanings these scenes can have. They're written so beautifully!!!

First watch: Heungsoo walks past the line because he's scary and a bully, and approaches Namsoon who he is implied to have bullied previously. Namsoon gives him his lunch in an attempt to please him. Heungsoo takes it because it's his rightful due

Second watch: Heungsoo walks past the line to get to the only person he knows (because he's an antisocial catlike giant of a man). Namsoon still feels terrible and guilty for what he did, and gives Heungsoo his lunch as an expression of affection/apology. Heungsoo laughs disbelievingly/bitterly because in his mind Namsoon still hates him/doesn't want to see him and he interprets the gesture as a dismissal

And then as soon as his boyfriend leaves he gets pestered by the three stooges. The man's having a rough day

(ep. 6) All Go Namsoon has done so far is be varying degrees of tired in varying locations. It's both impressive and a mood

(ep. 4) And we have another dual scene!!!!

First watch: Namsoon takes the time to place the book in front of Heungsoo, even straightening it before moving on so that his bully won't feel disrespected. Heungsoo demands an offering, because he's a scary bully and he expects that from Namsoon. Namsoon hesitates, torn between fear and his reputation/image/self-esteem, but eventually decides to do as he's told.

He gives them to Heungsoo and retreats to the safety of his corner. Heungsoo gives the offerings away as a subtle humiliation

Second watch: Namsoon takes the time to place the book in front of Heungsoo, even straightening it because he still cares. Heungsoo tells him to get a pastry because he's pissed and snarky and wants Namsoon to say no to him, show some of the fire he knew and loved. Namsoon hesitates, but ultimately decides he wants to please his boyfriend (make up for what he did, acts of service) and leaves

He gives the offerings to Heungsoo, lingers, but ultimately chooses not to speak and goes to his corner where he doesn't have to look at his boyfriend. Heungsoo is visibly frustrated that he's being a doormat, and gives the offerings away out of annoyance and disgust

(ep. 14) Heungsoo is holding the back of Namsoon's shirt like a leash lmfao he looks so tired

(ep. 13) Heungsoo getting everyone to shut the fuck up so his wife could speak lmfao

(ep. 13) Heungsoo getting the call about Jungho's debt had the same energy as a mother getting a call from the principal about a misbehaving child

Namsoon doesn't even hesitate, he just takes it in stride and accepts it as a problem they have to deal with together, even if it means disturbing his precious ramen consumption

(ep. 13) I was kind of expecting Heungsoo to be more motherly but it's definitely Namsoon. That man is dragging his kids to school kicking and screaming

(ep. 13) Heungsoon have only been on speaking terms for like an episode and they're already acting like an old married couple with kids. Their chemistry is off the charts, I adore them both
