Platform heels made shoe prints against the sheet of fresh white snow on the sidewalk as Phoenix made her way to her destination. White flakes fell around her as she scanned her surroundings, her dark eyes hidden by an equally dark pair of sunglasses. It didn't matter what time of day it was, Phoenix had a certain preference for dark eye wear. It added to the air of mystery, at least that's what some would tell her; to which she would reply that the only thing it added to was her 'fuck off' stance on the world. The sun had set long ago, which meant that her time to prowl the streets had come but on this certain night, she had a visit to make. A visit that had made her mutter several curses under her breath since it wasn't in her division to do these sort of calls. Actually, interactions with people that weren't Ketsueki Kuīnzu or part of her hits didn't usually happen very often.
Standing in front of an apartment building, Phoenix punched a code into the pad on the wall and silently made her way through the automatic glass door. Wrinkling her nose at the thought of using the elevator, she made her way up the flight of stairs and to the fifth floor. It didn't take long for her to find the respective door and when she knocked on it, she couldn't help but roll her eyes behind her shades. Phoenix had never been one to turn her nose up at the lifestyles or practices of others simply because they didn't fit her way of life, but right now, she wasn't too keen on having to make conversation with anyone, let alone with someone that she didn't know. "Kiko Mizuhara? Open up, I don't have all day, mate."
