“Welcome,” he was getting the hang of this now, and it was not hard to get into the archetype he was told he was like. Prince-type: welcoming and kind, the big brother type. Calm and level-headed. Perhaps it was a bit because he generally was the mature older brother.

Honestly, his comfort was mainly in learning how to navigate the club. It was far easier to greet patrons once he knew where he was going.

“Do you have any appointments or preferences? If not, I am certainly available.” Perhaps that sounded a bit too ...Confident, but he had to come across as something other than blind.

“...I thought you were gone for good.” Funny how the Scientists drops his ass back home and then they drag him right back into this hell. Must suck for the bat. Pun not intended.

     Slipping through side-streets and taking only peeks at the main street, listening out for footsteps and voices-- just like home. It was ridiculous really, but he hadn’t been gone long enough that he’d be rusty. No, he was right at home. 

     The only fact was that he cursed that he didn’t have a map, and it was hard to scope out the location when you needed to be careful of searching eyes. Even the slightest misstep would spell disaster.

     If he wasn’t already feeling right at home, he sure was now.

     The only thing that caused a pause in his steps was something so out of place, he needed to do a double take. A little-- bat? What? Eyes narrowed-- this place was weird enough that he didn’t like it.

     He ended up picking up the pace, weaving through the alleys as quickly as he could. Though it wasn’t settling as possible, someone using animals to track people down wasn’t entirely out of the question. Usually it was dogs though...

This scent is similar to the one back home in the cave. Back then, Jasper was with the man and they had to take refuge in some kind of damp cave. That had to be one of Jasper’s first night out of the castle, wasn’t it? Ah, this scent is....fucking annoying. 

It’s bringing up unwanted memories and shit. Driving him insane. He inhales and exhales as if he just got a whiff of something bad. “Tch...How annoying.” Ah, he said it out too loud. Whoops.
