Above and Beyond
Party delights are used to bring life to the party. They’re a step above “party supplies” in that they don’t just include paper cups or plates which every party typically needs. A party delight is something that wows the guests who are celebrating along with you. They can include creative food themed on a specific events (super bowl, world series, 4th of July), or decorations that go beyond tablecloths and napkins. There are a few extra things you can do to make your party more fun for the people attending.
Sky Lanterns:
Sky Lanterns are interesting balloons that are lit with fire, just like miniature hot air balloons, and float in the sky creating a nice array of light among the stars. They originate from Asian countries and can be known as Kongming Lanterns. They’re made out of rice paper, which is less-flammable then paper from wood, and is also biodegradable. The only dangers associated with Sky Lanterns are that if you launch them near farms or military bases, they can either cause fires or become an unnecessary headache for the national forces. They’ll have to deal with the unidentified object flying around, or it could be interpreted as a distress signal if near the ocean.
Scene Setter:
Scene Setters are good for themed parties as you can decorate a whole wall to replicate whichever theme your party has. These go along well with Room Rolls which basically are rolls of wallpaper that you adhere with sticky tack or tape. These are good if you really want your party to stand-out. If a child has a favorite character like Spongebob or Superman, there are special scene setters that can be used for that specific theme. No need to worry about the dull wallpaper or drab paint color in which your party is being hosted. You can give it a face-lift and make it appear like you’re viewing Hollywood through California palm trees or approaching a tropical island with white sandy beaches. And all would be none the wiser about your olive-green paint color.
