Sakura glanced to Naruto out of the corner of her eyes, noticing the brief change of expression. However, she decided not to call him out on it. Everyone needed time to recover, especially after that nightmare of a war. She returned his grin with a soft smile.
“You just can’t get enough ramen, can you?” She teased, her smile turning into a smirk for a few seconds. After a moment’s thought, she nodded in agreement to his proposition. “Alright, that sounds like a plan.” While she would’ve normally argued to the fact she didn’t need her friend to walk her home, the offer was reassuring to her- they weren’t drifting apart. She doubted they ever really would, but a nay-saying voice that was shoved to the back of her mind kept her worrying just enough.
