Nature is my respite.

No matter what is happening in my life (good or bad) I always seek the counsel of nature. Lately I’ve been focusing my energy on giving back to nature rather than drawing from her. I send reiki energy to the trees. I leave crystals buried in the ground. I’m mindful of my steps and my thoughts as I walk through the forest.

I had a beautiful experience yesterday where I felt my childlike energy return to my physical body. Nature reminded me of when I would play and make houses for the fairies when I was young. It was as if the smell of the flora and fauna became a portal that immediately transported me back over thirty years in the past.

Nature is magical. The trees taught me everything I know. Now it’s time for me to thank them and give gratitude for the knowledge and the wisdom they have bestowed upon me.

i highly recommend checking out the channel of Liv Wheeler, who is a voice diviner for the “kontomble” or the “little people” of West Africa and a voice for the ancestors. Every indigenous culture has had a relationship with the little people, just called them by different names, such as the leprechauns in Ireland. i have been finding it very nourishing to turn to the spirits of the earth and those connected to our human incarnation: they hold the keys to our healing
