Kookie and English!! I remember when he was still just a lil kid his level at English was so bad sdjkhfsdfhjk like he literally barely knew anything, remember his English lessons with Namjoonie tho?? The cute lil clips fdjkshdf.. My favorite clip of Jungkook is where Seokjin asks him if it’s ‘slave’ in English and Jungkook goes “How should I know that?” in the most incredulous tone and they burst out laughing at it kjsdfghfgs. His English has gotten really well though over the years!! I think he picked up a lot from gaming, if you go through the handful of times he interacted in v-chat, you can see some of his English chats and it looks fairly good!! Though honestly speaking it’s the basics you need when gaming online (outside Korean servers). Funny enough the way he chats and what he chats about in English is exactly like Korean pro gamers who go play in America/Europe and learn English there lmaoooo I’ve helped a pro with learning ‘specific’ too in the past and he also wrote it as ‘cpecific’ when he asked bout it x))).
After that the whole America promo’s happened and you can tell he took his English a lot more serious!! When the BBMA’s first happened you can tell he was pretty shy about speaking any English and just relied on Namjoon.. and honestly, they probably didn’t expect to come back to the US again.. so I’m not surprised. He was really silent in interviews, and only really spoke up in that one esports interview cause it’s a topic he wanted to talk about (like i can’t believe he’s not really asked bout gaming in korea back then lol). He’s a looot more talkative this year, and it’s also cause he now realizes he’s gonna promo in the US a lot. You can tell how hard he works to learn English too, he tends to make really dumb (yet clever..) dad jokes in the background and cracks up at himself over it fjgkhfgjhfgh. He’s starting to be a lot more like himself though even in English (think I WANT EAT @ the hosts randomly lmao)
