I look over at Pax. I forgot he was here. He’s old now. We knew he wouldn’t last after being disconnected from the COMSOL. I don’t know why he came. He just said he was going where I was going. Maybe he just hated The Therapist.

My hearts beating fast too. I haven’t moved from this position. I can’t look away from it. The collapsing walls, old and filled with holes. The City looked like sand now. From what I could see.

I stand up and look at the island I’m on. I can’t see a thing. That’s going to be a problem. I hope there’s a COMSOL here. Maybe we can salvage whatever’s left of Pax and get him together again.
