What up, followers. Welcome to my vlog.

Consider this the first real video on my channel, thecahall. About seven months ago, I made a different introduction video, but then I completely forgot about the vlog and got distracted by other things. A warning, I reach dangerous levels of awkwardness in this episode. 

Basically, I’m young and I’m inexperienced and extremely lame, but I want a place on the internet where I can discuss the thing I love most - telling stories. What that means for the channel? I have no flipping idea.

Korra only wants to help the Southern Tribe because she feels that she has "master" airbending and so she should move on to other things. The only thing she's mastered is being a mega bitch to everyone around her.

im thinking you probs just sent me this to get a angry reaction??? or maybe you’re on anon because you’re afraid i’ll tear you apart just for having a different opinion. either way its sad.

anyway you’re right about one thing. she does want to move on to other things. she is bored of airbending. korra lacks patience. is this a flaw? yes. will it come back to haunt her in the future? most likely.

but there’s a reason i say she’s not developED. she’s developING. she is becoming more interested in her spiritual side when before, she never gave it a second thought until it was the key to becoming an airbender. Now she doesn’t need it to unlock a physical element, but she’s still interested, right? whether or not it’s for the right reasons is yet to be seen. but this change in her behavior IS character development. 

and i think mega bitch is kinda harsh??? like, yes, she shouldn’t have lashed out at mako or tenzin or her dad but tbh these character flaws/mistakes always make for a more interesting, complex story.
