Seriously, I feel like Toph would be the vigilante in the hot seat, rather than the law enforcement? Lin being the Chief of Police I can get behind, but Toph being a cop is never not gonna feel weird.
That was...easier than I anticipated. Poor bear-doggo, though, I can't imagine that feels great.
Something I do remember about this show is that alternate bending techniques such as metalbending and the ability to shoot lightning have become widespread, and to a certain extent even commonplace. I think I'm perfectly okay with there being many metalbenders - I think a society where metalworking becomes part of daily life would definitely benefit from the technique, and I doubt Toph would wanna keep it a secret.
I...don't feel as charitable about lightningbending, though. I'll probably elaborate on that later.
