I have it , but don’t get it AT ALL. Halp?

What do you need help with?  I'm going to put the 'basic steps' or so of using XIM.

The first time you install XKit 7 a dialogue will appear, kind of basic for any tumblr extension - all you have to do is wait for a lil while until its done.  After its done it might start a mini tour of the extension, if you've used XKit before you may skip it but it's pretty short so there's no harm in following it.

XIM will try to connect now, since it's the first time it will ask you for a pin - just enter 4 numbers  [ #### ] and remember them because this is the security feature, it makes sure you are you.  You won't be asked for this number afterwards unless (possibly) if something messes up with the app.

Now XIM will connect and a new box will appear in your sidebar in your dash.  You can now click the add a buddy option and write the URL of the tumblr you want to add.  You can check the list in my post to look up simblr that have XIM.

Once you add someone you can click on their name and send them a message!! It's just a chat.  If the person is not online (the little dot on the list is gray instead of green) the person will receive the message when they get online.

Everytime someone goes online or offline a sound will be done.  You can turn this off if it bothers you.

XIM has a limit of 30 buddies you can have, if you reach it then just delete someone (follow the instructions that appear in the popup) to be able to add someone new.

I felt like I talked a lot and I'm not even sure if this answered whatever doubt you had - I just hope that someone finds it useful.
