I just had a wild thought and I kind of love it so it’s now my headcanon. At some point when Dunk Knights Egg (when he’s older) he’ll give Egg Ser Arlan’s sword and Egg will use that sword over any other despite its plainness. Even if the blade breaks and can’t be reforged he’ll keep the hilt and use it with whatever sword he has to replace it with.

Meanwhile, Maekar gives Dunk his Mace, the same one used to strike Baelor. He’ll tell Dunk it’s both a gift and a burden since they both carry the guilt of that day.
