My Thoughts: Despite only 1/2 chapters published, this was a perfect read with such a great premise. Really hits on a tender moment for the two of them and even unfinished it was so lovely.

My Thoughts: Once again keeping it short and sweet, this fluffy oneshot is a great confession scene with some fun background shenanigans to add to the entertainment.

Summary: Maybe, if Biana hadn’t been so distracted, she would’ve noticed the signs. She’d never been the oblivious type. Maybe she could’ve predicted the intent behind this perfect date, been able to stop him before it happened. Maybe she could have prevented it, made it easier for the both of them.

She had only turned away for a second, to admire the reflections of the lights on the water. When she’d turned back, what she’d been too slow to realize hit her. Dex’s ears were flushed red, his eyes searching hers. His mouth was set in a determined smile, and he’d changed position so that he was now kneeling in front of her. Held in his hands was a ring.

After Biana rejects Dex's proposal, they go nine months without talking. However, when the Council assigns them both to a mission in the Forbidden Cities, they must face each other, and worse, their feelings.

My Thoughts: Maybe if you're in the mood for something a little bit less fluff focused this might be right up your ally! With all the tension and drama of a second chance plus the tropes to keep you reading, I personally found this really compelling and think anyone else would.
