Happy 2026 everybody!! Time to start the year right with some good ol' Mothzilla. And what better than to showcase a new baby!! Meet Anija (Ah-nee-ha) or Annie for short. She's inspired by a cute toho Mothra toy and that one monster from Monsters vs. Aliens. Ya'll know which one.

I've got some good and bad news. Bad news first, I will no longer be posting the Mothzilla fanfic raw to Tumblr anymore 😔 I'm still writing it!! Just not posting it here. Instead, I will post updates with links to the sites I currently have it on! They'll be accompanied by whatever art I've drawn for that chapter, so you cant miss em'. Good news, this tumblr will be dedicated to Mothzilla and kaiju art of all kinds, along with behind the scenes art for the fic.

Thank you to all that came this far if you're still here, and to all that enjoyed my art and story. May this year bring us more joy and Mothzilla for all ❤️

One thing I am living for in these Monsterverse movies is their complete shamelessness about making Mothzilla canon. Like, so many movies these days want to de-emphasize romance like it's too embarrassing to escape containment from the genre of romance/chick flicks and Legendary went and said, "Here's a giant bug and a giant lizard. They're married. No, we're not kidding. They're not 'just really good friends'. They're in love, bitch."
