Kount isn't really the type to waste energy on small talk, he's pretty much always in his own head, and when he does speak it's usually something cutting/dismissive or he's being spoken to. BUT!! on the rare occasions when he's in a decent mood or something genuinely catches his eye, he'll say it

i like to imagine that during Title Defense, Don's new look impresses him. there's something about Don's commitment to the darker aesthetic that appeals to Kount (obv it makes sense, considering how much he gravitates toward that himself). and so he actually complients Don on his new style. Don is taken aback by it because he's never heard the Kount say anything even remotely positive about anyone

i think Don might actually be one of the few people Kount would feel okay giving those rare kind remarks to. there's a mutual respect there, it's teeny but it's there between em...
