It’s been years and I just never got around to posting it.
If you’re ever wondering, “Why is Zaku posting THIS after ten thousand years,” the answer is @lindoreda told me it was a very important part of my shoujo education. Like, it’s the only reason I’m watching Fruits Basket, which has generally been miserable and can only be saved by everyone collectively going Higurashi on Akito’s ass.

Yeah, although the big news here was the death of a comedian a few days ago.
Most of the response still feels like a sequence of half-measures. Non-essential businesses are open and some have reduced their hours, but I could still, like, walk to Sunshine City and buy Pokemons. The school closures were a big deal and public transit usage is down, but plenty of people still have to commute because work-from-home isn’t an option. We have prefectural governors asking people to stay in on evenings and weekends, but hey, get in the train on Monday and go to the office.

Why would there even be a Kamen Rider Club if there was effectively never a Fourze? These time shenanigans are killing me.
IIRC Tomoko named him “Kamen Rider” because other Riders existed as urban legends, and Ryusei wasn’t deleted from time so Meteor still exists.
The real answer is that we’re overthinking this and Toei isn’t thinking at all, so whatever. It’s just alarming to see this get executed almost as haphazardly as Decade even though they’ve had ten years to figure out how to do an anniversary season.

Y'know, thinking about it, Jigen doesn't actually kill people that often. He usually just wounds them or shoots weapons out of their hands. This was a bit of a splurge for him, huh?
