What would you think about a Zuko and Azula body swap fic? (Either pre, during or post canon).
To work best I'd have to say either pre or post canon.
Pre-canon would have Azula understanding what Zuko would through while banished. While Zuko can come to understand the stress of being a "prodigy" that Azula has to live with.
Post-canon would be an absolute feast of material. Zuko having to learn that "no Zuko, Azula is not crazy she just suffered from a breakdown" and having to see what he and everyone put her through after the agni-kai. And then Azula who'd be fresh out of the asylum having to take over as Firelord which is something she didn't actually want. In other words, more stress.
Bonus points if no-one knows they switched.
