God, Juice injured too? The Bang Bang Gang are having no luck lately :( It's awful how long Colten's been out too, when he got injured on his return it was bad enough, but I thought maybe he'd recover quickly and get back into things. What a horrible shame for them.
I'm vaguely hoping Jay is secretly recovered and they're saving his return for the Australia show or just before it - but that does mostly seem like wishful thinking
It was nice to see Austin team with Billy again, but the entrance with no-one else was heartwrenching
I really like that it was a proper match - it seemed like something they had to throw together last minute because of the Collision cancellation, given that Billy and Austin haven't had much to do with each other lately, and Billy's not really involved in any storylines at all right now, so it seems like it would have been very easy to make it a squash and have Billy take the pin so it wouldn't affect too much on the show. But - especially given the fact they said Austin and Billy were previously unbeaten - instead it was a substantial match, and everyone felt like a serious proposition and a serious threat to each other, and like they were a proper team. I don't know, it just felt like everyone looked good, even though someone had to get pinned and it probably wasn't going to be Protoshita, and I really liked that.
Also - I feel like that slightly odd pin at the end, where Takeshita suddenly switched positions, was so that he could glare daggers at Don on commentary while he did it...👀

I like that they've gone with 'Davis and Doyle' for Mark and Jake. It's simple, but it's punchy - it works. And the titantron of it makes them look like circus strongmen. Circus strongmen that are going to run you over

The Willow and Julia match felt a little awkward to me at the beginning - it might be another they had to throw together without much notice. But got really cool towards the end, it definitely built up

I feel like I've seen the broken glass on Roddy's titantron a thousand times before but also somehow never noticed it
Commentary pointing out that this was a rematch between Claudio and Roddy after their match in the Continental Classic, and Claudio probably 'hadn't forgotten' that Roddy got a win against him - and then I remembered that win meant that Claudio didn't get into the finals of the C2, and instead that place went to Moxley, who he'd already beaten. Now that he's taken back his win from Roddy...I wonder if Claudio's remembering that too...👀
