you haven't heard anything on Kronidae for a while

but here's a another character!

Halloumi is a demi-god kid of Hades, and frankly Giorgios is uncertain whether that's his original name, he's apparently one of the oldest demigods at the academy and he's seen so much shit he's the only one there more chill than Hokulani.

He only advertises two abilities, but Giorgios is convinced he has more. He can see the time left in a person's life span but with the way living life works, it's a number that's constantly changing. Unless you're an Olympian or Titan apparently, then he sees a null code.

His second is the ability to move life energy. It looks like healing but it's not. But basically he moves injury to other things that aren't injured and effectively cancels it out.

He goes by Hal currently, and he claims he's seen it all. What this means is anyone's guess. He claims to have been the first demigod at the school, and like Giorgios he's the only member of his dorm. (There's quite a few in Zeus's, and Apollo's, and even several in Poseidon's.)

He's chill, but this man is a habitual liar. No one knows who he actually is, but it wouldn't surprise any of them if he hails all the way back to the days of Ancient Greece. Sure, that would make him thousands of years old, but whatever, sure, they'd believe Hal is thousands of years old. Unless that's also a lie.

Giorgios obviously has to interact with other demigods and they're allowed to not like him bc they're all people.

Karizma- Apollide (son of Apollo), loves this guy, this is his new bestie, he thinks it's epic that Giorgios is effectively set up on this whole quest against his own father and the fate the world decided for him, taking his destiny into his own hands it's KICKASS he wishes he had a journey like that it sounds so cool

Disney-Apollide (son of Apollo), Karizma's younger brother, likes Giorgios well enough but he thinks the guy is way too naive for the situation he's in like why does someone in a position where he could get possessed by a world-ending monster just keep trying to be nice to everyone why isn't he at ALL defensive about himself if he wants to insist on his own goodness? Karizma is like the shiny confident aspects of Apollo, Disney is the burning passion and undertones of music and poetry he inherited from Apollo

Archie-Athenide (son of Athena), this nerd enjoys the way that his nerdiness almost matches up with Giorgios and also that the demi-Titan allows him to info dump on him endlessly without complaint and just...listens....it's been a while since he's been heard so well

Chad- Zeuside (son of Zeus), his name is secretly Alcibiades, he's strong and confident, he'd be the meathead football player in every high school movie, he respects Giorgios' strength and capacity to stand up to him when pushed, he just hates that Giorgios has to be pushed to show his shiny spine....he appoints himself the demi-titan's personal trainer in confidence

Also some stuff I've decided on Giorgios' own personality and the ways he's similar and different from Kronos whether he likes or not

Giorgios -chronically online bc he had to move a lot, doesn't like to talk about himself -loves underdog stories and those about heroes struggling against fate/destiny, sobs at movies where the heroes defy prophecy and flip off the gods -burying himself in nerdy subcultures so he can fixate on anyone but himself -ocd in his surroundings, panics if absolutely anything is moved or out of place, he's developed a routine so he can feel like he has control over something in his life but it inevitably always gets out of hand -prefers to be a follower bc he gets SUPER anal about methodology if he's ever put in charge and precise about everything so he figures the best solution is to just...not put him in charge of anything ever -his fight or flight responses are usually extreme, he is usually either begging for his life or he will break your limbs (he attempts to force himself into flight mode more often than not bc he's gotten into trouble over his fight reflexes)

Similar to Kronos -needs control and when he has it, it needs to be absolute -his fight reflexes are extreme -meticulous in details

Unique to Giorgios -highly empathetic -emotional -anxious all the time -did you know he'll probably die for you? -patience abounds in this boy

Part of the problem with Giorgios is that there is no precedent for what he is. No demi-titan has ever made it to adulthood and Giorgios is 19. Not that they haven't been born before, but they've never made it to adulthood. He asks Hermes but the best answer he can get out of the messenger god is that "Human blood and Titan blood don't mix well. It can cause the entire collapse of the body, or the mind, or both. Hitting exactly the right balance is hitting the grand golden jackpot. You play gacha games, right? Imagine hitting the 0.0001% rate for the ultra rare...and that is your existance now as an adult."

so maybe the cult was hopeful in the past when their previous messiah destined to serve as a vessel for Konos hit all their development markers and seemed to be doing well...and then about age 4 or 5 suddenly developed health problems, and their entire body just started to fail while simultaneously screaming about SOMETHING until they just abruptly die before even reaching proper adolescence. And it happens again and again and again and then Giorgios is born and he doesn't deteriorate. They follow him, they stalk him, and he just KEEPS growing. His medical records they hacked into says he experiences the occasional night terror and hallucination but otherwise he's completely healthy. Better than healthy, even, he's never been sick a day in his life.

He's their chosen vessel! The once in a lifetime perfect demi-Titan of Kronos. Whether he likes it or not.
