It took them a few minutes to decide what they wanted to see, but eventually tickets were bought and they all gathered in their seats with candy and popcorn in hand.
Mina happened to be sitting on the outside of their little friend group when someone happened to sit beside her with their own group of friends: you. You were gorgeous, and Mina immediately took the chance to compliment you. She was a bit confused as to why you got a little bashful, but knew right then and there she wanted to keep talking to you.
Unfortunately, she didn’t get much of a chance, as the next moment she opened her mouth the lights dimmed and the trailers ended. However, she did manage to sneak peaks at you throughout the film, and would smile whenever your eyes would connect.
At the end of the credits, she caught up with you as everyone was leaving and started chatting. Jokes and compliments were laced into the conversation, and by the end the both of you had tinged cheeks and smiles stretched upon your faces. It was pleasant, comfortable. The way you two talked, despite having first met, it felt as if you two knew each other for a long time. Mina just had that effect on people, and it showed.
Eventually, with the small outburst of Bakugou asking for her to hurry up, the two of you swapped numbers. It wasn’t long after the squad returned to the dorms when the two of you started texting, and before you both knew it, it was late into the night and there were small flutters in your chests. It was obvious there was a connection there, and you two were going to explore it.
Headcanons :
🌸 The first time Mina asked you two to hang out again was at the park. You two were walking around and chatting to each other when eventually you branched off and went into the town square.
🌸 From there you guys went window shopping—trying on clothes and posing for each other, laughing and having a good time.
🌸 You found yourself liking one of the items you tried on, and Mina offered to buy it for you.
🌸 At first you said no, but after she insisted with that cutesy smile on her face, it was hard to resist.
🌸 You wore it out of the store, smiling the entire time as Mina gushed how it suited you.
🌸 Your hangout ended at a small cafe, to which you two swayed in your seats as people got on stage and sang for the small crowd.
🌸 After that, you two would go out and explore much more often.
🌸 There were times where you were a bit hesitant, but Mina gave you a reassuring smile and slowly pushed you out of your shell.
🌸 For a good time, the two of you were best friends. It was something that happened quick, but with the way you guys clicked the first time, it wasn’t a surprise.
🌸 However, you began to notice her complimenting you more than usual. Smiling more often, and the linger held in her stares. There was something in her eyes you couldn’t distinguish, but it made you feel warm.
🌸 She asked you out a good few months after you first met, nearly a year into the friendship. It was during a concert, when the song playing got slow and everyone began to dance.
🌸 When she offered you her hand, you didn’t hesitate to take it.
🌸 The two of you whispered to each other as you danced, smiling and giggling amongst the music.
🌸 However, right as the song ended, she asked you the question.
🌸 For a moment you froze, caught off guard by the sudden words. But after looking into her eyes, seeing that gaze once again that left butterflies in your stomach, you said yes.
🌸 Often from then on, the affection ensued.
🌸 She loves to surprise you by hugging you from behind. Even if she’s shorter than you.
🌸 You two would often flirt with each other, and Mina finds it adorable that you’d always have a blush coating your cheeks whenever she initiated the engagement or followed your lead.
🌸 When you two had your first kiss, it was in her bedroom. You two were talking and you noticed how her eyes trailed to your lips, entranced.
🌸 She was taken aback when you asked her what she was looking at, but that expression slowly turned into a smile as her thumb found its way to your birthmark.

Spiral theory
So i had my appointment with the therapist today, and she showed me this REDICULOUS calming theory called the spiral theory.
Step one: focus on your overwhelming feeling. For me, it was fear. fear i would lose her.
Step two: figure out where in your body you feel the feeling. for me, it was nausea.
Step three: figure out which direction the negative energy moves in. For me, it was a clockwise spiral, like a normal person. Ha! me, normal, as if.
Step four: focus your energy on the negative energy. use your positive energy to counter the negative energy. first stop it, then if you can, reverse it.
It is said that the focus calms you, the energy actually dissipates when you reverse it. i feel its complete bullshit. but whatever floats your boat, eh? :)
Making a difference
I have officially dedicated the rest of my life (however long or short it may be) to helping others and making a difference. I am stuck in a horrible situation where one of my friends desperately needs help but doesnt want it. so i am forced not to do anything for fear of her eternal hatred. It makes me feel like an AWFULperson. but i will not betray her trust. i cannot and will not do it. However, i AM going to do so much research into it that she is swallowed with facts and possibilities. I am going to make every effort to convince her to help herself or let me or someone else help her. And you know what else? i feel guilty as shit. which i suppose i shouldn't because shes not letting me say something, but i still feel like i should be doing something to stop this horrible situation from worsening or getting the best of her.So, in order to try to make up for this horrible sense of worhtlessness and helplessness and terrible guilt, i am going to throw everything i am into helping people who will let me. Look out world, here comes the sunshine queen. I'm not even kidding, this is eating me alive inside (oh the irony) and this is the only non-self-harming thing i can think to do to ease the paing of guilt. This is going to be interesting. and god, i hope it works, or else im screwed; forever engulfed with self loathing and guilt, especially if something happens to make the situation worse. i dont know what i would do. So, here is my plan:
Step 1: RESEARCH. i am going to spend hours online searching for loopholes and ways we can end this shitty situation. I am also going to call my aunt Donna, who is a lawyer, and ask her advice and knowledge for help (without telling her a name of course).
Step 2: PRESENT. i am going to BOMBARD said friend with all the knowledge i have acquired. all the ins and outs and possibilities. every fine pointed detail will be brought up until she sees how extremely serious and determined i am, and hopefully gives in.
Step 3: GIVE BACK. this is the easy step. i am going to go out of my way to make a difference in people's lives. i am going to volunteer more, work harder on my anti-bullying campaign, and do ANYTHING i can for those in need who will accept my help. Heck, i might even offer to babysit a certain set of demons who happen to live above a good friend of mine. for free.
Of course, this is not going to go over well with my friend. she's most likely going to get mad at me for even attempting without actually doing anything. which is okay. i understand her point. i would have done anything to keep my best friend from tearing up the little bit of "stability" i had when i was dealing with my past on a daily basis. but you know what? i didnt have anyone who knew. i didnt have anyone there to FIGHT WITH EVERY ONCE OF THEIR BEING for me. i know for a fact that i NEVER had a friend who cared for me as much as i do for her. And it's okay if she gets angry with me. yes, its going to hurt like hell, but i'm doing it for her own good. so, because i know she'll read this sometime soon, do not worry about me making any of the several calls i could make to end this problem, but DO NOT THINK my case ends tonight. i will NOT let this go. I love you far too much. FAR too much. If i do any less, i will literally die from horriblepersonitis and guiltyconsciousemia. No joke, that shit is lethal.
I love you dear. Keep your head up, your heart open, and your eyes lookin up, because there is someone lookin out for you, i'm sure of it. <3
