So I've been looking at your other drawings for your Infection AU, and it made me look at the website I sent you a link to, strawberryreef dot com, just because I felt inspired XD they had a G1 family series, with a mom, dad and baby pony? And while Applejack's parents aren't around, may I suggest Apple Bloom becoming Baby Apple Delight? (parents are Mommy and Daddy Apple Delight)

you know what would be amazing? The Henson Company turning around and suddenly owning all Disney Property. Including Marvel and Star Wars. (I'm dying at the thought of Miss Piggy giving Loki the old "HEEEE-YAH!")

I am risking the Cursed Oracle Properties of tumblr for this one because can you imagine; Disney, a bloated rotting corpse collapsing under the gravitational mass of its own hubris, finally going under and sinking beneath the corrupt morass with a final bubble of ‘oh whoops we forgot to nurture and cherish all the things we greedily took over for no reason other than to possess them’ and the one glittering golden part of it which remains buoyant and untarnished, and which can therefore can take over some, if not all, of the properties of this ghastly monstrosity which has consumed to the point of its own destruction, is the Henson Company. Not only would we get, as you say, Loki being HEEE-YAH’d, we get a company that has always respected and cherished true artistic vision and creativity and fairness in the workplace reigning supreme over so many IPs that the world would be beside itself with genuinely fresh new takes, original content, and accurately restored and released originals that have previously been locked away or mutilated beyond recognition (e.g. looking at the Blueray Cinderella so scrubbed and saturated you can’t even see the lines on her DRESS what did you DO). An age of peace and prosperity commences lorded over only by Miss Piggy, and frankly she’s a Queen already the only shift would be in what kind of crown she gets to wear. Horrible loveless CGI remakes are banished. Archives of comics are made available online and reprinted in beautiful hardback copies. Artists are paid royalties like they goddamn ought to be and there, over the horizon... it rises... like the sun...

What does "dead dove" mean?

So there’s this scene in a tv show that is frequently giffed where a guy opens a fridge and sees a paper bag labelled “Dead Dove-Do Not Eat” and he opens the bag, makes a face, and then looks away, resigned, and says “I don’t know what I expected”

Within fandom, the term “dead dove” is often used by writers as an additional tag to warn potential readers to be careful and check the other tags, and understand that this story might be kind of fucked up. And to tell readers subtly that if they don’t like what they see and keep reading, that’s their problem, because the fic was tagged. What were they expecting?

This came out of a time when the idea that tagging fics wasn’t enough to warn readers started to be spread around. It was tied into many calls for censorship and many of these calls for censorship were ridiculous. Like, “reader, you ignored at least three warnings before seeing this story. it did not come up and bite you”

Example of one of my stories that I could use this tag on: “A Perfect Man Is Hard To Find”: It’s literally about two men killing and eating another man, with heavy sexual content. I have it tagged properly, and if someone left a comment complaining about the sexy cannibalism, well??? Did you not read the tags???

Dead Dove is a shorthand for “I told you what was here, I told you it wasn’t going to be nice, I don’t know what you were expecting”

I wish you would write a fic where, due to Infinity Stone shenanigans Tony ends up back in time with his younger self post IM1. Older Tony is salty af and takes no shit. Lots of confusion bc he and younger Tony switch places, do everyone else get mixed signals (esp. Fury who thought Tony would be a pushover). Possible Stony?

“Who the fuck are you and where is Tony?” Rhodey asks, pointing a gun at Tony.

“I’m Tony from the future and I don’t fucking know. Where I should be, probably? I don’t know how much I can tell you. Butterfly effect, you know,” he explains, unconcerned, and then immediately disregards what he’d just said by asking, “Hey, has the palladium poisoning started yet, or--”

“The what?” Rhodey sputters.

“Oh, yeah, his arc reactor’s gonna start killing him soon,” Tony answers casually, and then screams when Rhodey lunges for him.

Rhodey realizes it’s Tony by the scream.

Rhodey pinches the bridge of his nose. “Oh my God. Oh my God.”

“Rhodey you’re still so handsome!” Tony praises, but then he realizes he’s not wearing armor but actual leg braces. “Oh. Oh, Rhodey.”

“It’s not your fault,” Rhodey assures him quickly.

“It’s Steve’s,” Pepper adds, grinning like the cat who got the cream.

“Steve who,” Tony asks her, confused.

Steve comes to see if Tony’s alright after the stone debacle and is immediately punched in the face. “Ow what the fuck?!”

“I CAN’T BELIEVE CAPTAIN AMERICA HURT MY RHODEY!!!!!” Tony shouts, grabbing a chair and attempting to beat him with it.

Pepper and Rhodey watch for a few minutes before Pepper finally asks, “Are you gonna stop him, or...”

“You’re the one who started this. You stop it,” Rhodey scoffs.

It takes both of them to pull Tony off of Steve because no one else wants to go near them. This Tony has only “known” Steve for five minutes and he still somehow has insults left, right, and center for him.

“I can’t believe he’s going to fuck Steve,” Pepper sighs.

Tony blinks up at her, baffled. “I won’t????”

“No, you’re gonna. You have zero self-control,” Rhodey tells him.

“Future me fucks Steve??????” Tony asks, uncertain.

Pepper and Rhodey both sigh, put-upon. “Yeah.”

Tony considers this, then very cautiously smiles. “I bet Howard’s rolling in his grave.”

I feel like it could get very interesting, if the third Little Nightmares game shows us, that it's some kind of backwards chronological order. Like, maybe the third game will show us the "true origins" of The Lady? Either way, I'm looking forward to it.

I spoke to some other commenters about this; some may still be unaware, but Tarsier announced recently they are no longer making Little Nightmares games. (Most likely because they were bought by Embracer Group, and Bandai owns the rights to LN now, so Embracer didn’t wanna pay royalties or license fees) 

So Embracer is making Tarsier abandon Little Nightmares to create other franchises. 

Bandai however says they want to continue the LN franchise, and I’ve been told that team was given the concept art and stuff from the Tarsier team to carry it on, however, it is unclear how the Little Nightmares franchise will continue. 

I find it unlikely we will get a Little Nightmares 3 exactly like the first and second game, I don’t know if Bandai would be allowed or able to replicate the style and mechanics either. (I just don’t know how much control or creation was in which team’s hands..) 

Otherwise, we’d probably get strange alternatives like the Very Little Nightmares game, which I didn’t have fun playing... (I cannot for the life of me see where I’m tapping) 

Or perhaps we wouldn’t get games at all, maybe they’ll focus more on comics. (There’s supposed to be a tv show in the works too but the IMDB page has been dead for 2 years now... sdlgdflkgjdfl) 

 At this point, more LN content, in general, will probably appease me. But I can’t help but feel very empty inside knowing Tarsier is out of the picture. Not only was the LN2 ending tragic, but it felt like the whole series just got canceled and is now on a cliffhanger which is a double punch to the gut... But also because LN2 answered a lot of questions; it theoretically can be seen as complete, just open-ended. I don’t know which hurts worse dsklgjdlfkgj 

But I was told not to give up hopeeeee .... So I guess I’ll cross my fingers.

Anyway, a Chronological Order game release schedule would be interesting. 

So far I think the timeline is as follows: 

1. Very Little Nightmares 

2. Little Nightmares 2 

3. Little Nightmares 

True origins of the Lady and Six are a must-have for sure! 

As much as I would love for Little Nightmares to have a happy ending; one where Mono is broken free, and the world is fixed and Six isn’t a hungry soul sucking creature.... 

I just know things are only going to get more horrific and painful the deeper we go. :)

A Good Book || Birthday Present for @KSClaw

After over a month of work, this is finally done! A total of four different animations and a background!

While this isn't the full version, this is the version that tumblr can handle. The version I sent to the lovely KSClaw is 50 frames and much more spaced.

This was originally just the page flipping animation, but as I worked on it, I wanted to add more and test my abilities while creating a gift worthy of someone who has been incredibly supportive of me.

While this is a bit late for KSClaw's birthday, I still suggest checking out their blog, they're an excellent author and artist and are an absolutely lovely person!

Do not steal, repost, or alter in any way.
