@ksxshannon ; coming to keisung, ahyoung hadn’t expected to meet anyone she knew at the college, nor the newly opened high school. that was the entire reason her twin brother had been sent along with her -- their parents had quaked at the thought of her all alone, in a place full of strangers where she could easily be (even more) corrupted, so he was also here to keep her in line, as well as to hinder others from doing what their parents feared most to her. so far, though, she thought he had little to worry about. not that he did much of that, anyway, over anything else other than his own studies.
walking along the hallways of keisung, ahyoung was mourning her bank account balance when she stopped short upon seeing someone walk by, looking like someone she knew from her life before keisung. narrowing her eyes, she started tailing the other girl. from this distance, it was hard to tell whether it was really shannon kim that she was seeing before her, so ahyoung quickened her steps to catch up.
“hey!” ahyoung called out. “shannon? is that you?” waiting for the girl to turn around and confirm her suspicions, ahyoung was reminded of all the times before when they were younger, bonded over the fact that their fathers were business associates. they are business associates, ahyoung corrected herself. still, it was difficult to think of why shannon would’ve ended up in the same dump as she had -- ahyoung could barely recall the other girl being anywhere as problematic as she was.
