Ooohhh it turned out nice!!
I decided to go with a ginkgo leaf design, more art nouveau than art deco
On my bench this morning… let’s see what comes of it
I made myself a pretty little tarot (oracle) cards box 😊
I use the Osho Zen deck, and since I was taking this video to share, looks like we got a good single card reading 😁
🤟
Van Gogh glass …. My favorite way to decorate the inside, accent the housing for the bulb and hide the wiring 😁
Isn’t it gorgeous? That is Violet/Aqua/Copper on the left and Copper Sparkle on the right. You can see the gradient on the long piece of Copper, which is so beautiful, but it loses the effect in shorter pieces.
Progress so far:
The glass is finished, polished and placed, the lamp is wired but I’ve never been happy with the bottoms of them
See? So I came up with an idea to recycle cardboard and use some fabric that Rosie was going to get rid of.
Now I like their bottoms!
We’re almost there, just waiting on bulbs. Rosie, the beautiful being she is, ran out to get me some. So finished shots soon!
I’m thinking of calling this one “Changing Tides” because of the directionality of the texture of the waterglass. The teal streaky is vertical and the darker straight teal is horizontal. It looked cool when I held it up to the light and it looks cool in the lantern lol 😆
Edit: oooohhhh he’s a beauty!!!
