There was just the slightest tension in Sephiroth’s jaw at the question.  He suspected that it was more than likely a joke… but there was that small uncertainty.

Small enough to remain staring somewhat neutrally at the other SOLDIER for a couple of additional seconds before he responded, matter-of-factly, “That depends more on the order.  If one casts Haste before Sleep, then the result is likely to be a short burst of energy before simply falling unconscious, though the sleep itself is fitful.  If Sleep is cast before Haste, the sleep will be sped up, but there will be no actual rest or rejuvenation, leading to wasteful unconsciousness.”

In place of allowing Kunsel the opportunity to ask him how he might have come upon such information, Sephiroth simply continued.  “As it’s remarkably difficult to truly cast both spells at once regardless of how well the materia are linked together, casting both at the exact same time would only be possible with two people and an exceptionally good understanding of timing between the two of them.  Then there’s no real guarantee regarding what may happen to the subject receiving the double-cast.  It would not be recommended the first time, let alone allowable to attempt additional tests.”

Feeling that he’d given enough of a safety warning, he then nodded politely as if dismissing himself from explanation entirely.  “It is fair to say that you are not the first to wonder this, Mr. Zantos.  If you’ll excuse me.”

A moment is taken to scrutinize the frog. They don’t exactly hop up to him every day, and considering his sudden inability to find Zack…

“You know, there are easier ways to get my attention.” Where was he supposed to find a Maiden’s Kiss now, in the middle of the jungle? “Now c’mon, either you follow me or I’m picking you up.”

You would think that having grown up in these very jungles that Zack would know how to avoid those damn touch me’s, but no...he swore he had to hold some sort of record for this. 

He outright pouted (or as much as a frog could pout) as he hopped along behind Kunsel as fast as he could. It’s not like he had any other choice after all.

     Zack quirked a brow, studying Kunsel’s body language. A grin tugged at his lips and he folded his arms over his chest, leaning forward just a tad. “So...does that mean you don’t want to kiss me?”

                         there  was  nothing  stopping  that  giant  smile  from  appearing ,    out  shining  the  sun  on  even  the  best  of  days  as  the  SOLIDER  threw  an  arm  around  the  other’s  shoulders ,    dragging  him  into  a  hug  of  sorts  while  steering  them  into  the  direction  of  the  silver  general’s  private  headquarters.     “    this  is  why  i  love  you  and  why  you  get  the  number  one  spot  in  my  books.    he’s  gonna   be  so  pissed  when  he  finds  out  but  i  truly  think  that  sephiroth  could  rock  purple  hair.    ”
