Prattling off about some more characters:

Darnell Johnson is a hard working no-nonsense man, which was noticed by his drill sgt. making him team captain. He got the nickname "Lumps" after having his head shaved. He was an active Black Panther member before getting drafted and really took his parents working their asses off to give him a better life to heart.

Harvey Kuntz, aka "Kunzy" is a short tempered and sheltered man. He had to have someone explain that there are sex positions other than missionary and that's why he's a dissapointment to women everywhere. He has grown up with conservative views his whole life and was suddenly crammed into a diverse mix of men as the Army often does.

Thomas T. Thompson is the guy that everyone in the platoon bets on dying first. He is a literal ray of sunshine that has never had profound thought in his life. He ends up pretty much being everyone's baby brother because nobody can hate him no matter how hard they try and the name Tomtom stuck. He is happily married at 19 and never shuts up about how much he loves his wife. It makes people sick.
