Since you're okay with crossover pairs, here's some weird ones to think about. *grins* Sabo and Kurotabou (NnM), Tsuna and Luffy, and, er. Yato (Noragami) and Kyoko (KHR).
Aaaaah! I just discovered I still had this in my inbox! So sorry, Adel!
I can see the Revolutionaries taking in people of all kinds- including yokai. I really wanna see Rihan as one of the commanders of the revolutionary army. All those people raised from childhood by the army? Mostly the kids are taken in by EVERYBODY because they’re all bleeding hearts. ALL of them. Kurotabou especially. Sabo meets Kurotabou around twenty-years-old, when he comes back from a mission, almost stumbles over a child and asks how the hell there’s a NEW LOAD OF KIDS in the foyer.
Cue everybody blaming the resident assassin (Don’t be fooled, they’re all to blame, it’s just that Kurotabou has the habit of kidnapping the kids of his victims if they’re young enough ‘cause he’s sure as hell not leaving them to the wolves). Natsumi is there, she’s the sweet but very mischievous best friend.
The rest of the Paranormal Patrol all are kidnapped kids (except for RIkuo, who’s Rihan’s son, of course). Natsumi is one of their caretakers and is known under the terrifying alias of ‘’the Crane’’ whenever someone threatens the kids. Rikuo is the resident cutie (he’s like four and can be found under each and every table where any kind of important conversation is held with the rest of the patrol because Kiyotsugu was Curious and Needed To Know).
Sabo and Kurotabou bond over their love for their siblings (Which is like ALL THE KIDS HE KIDNAPPED for Kurotabou) and have the occasional not so gentleman-y argument over who is the best (looking in some cases) gentleman (Strangely, they never claim it’s themselves).
I REALLY like this idea. Don’t give me Nurarihyon crossover opportunities unless you’re ready to be FLOODED
Tsuna would be SO RELIEVED to find someone who, for once in his life, is completely honest and has no underlying motives. Ditto for Yato (the no underlying motives part, not the honesty, or at least not in the same way)- though it can take some time to see through him.
He’d despair at Luffy’s destructive habits, but most of it gets cleared up by Yato getting quarters for it, so everybody’s happy (this is also, as it happens, how Tsuna and Yato met. Low cost repair. Tsuna felt guilty about it, but Yato is so incredible happy with the quarters that he just opened up his house for both Yukine and Yato, gave them quarters every time, fed and clothed them and never gave Yato more money than the quarters. (Like Yato actually wanted because he likes quarters and also like Yukine wanted so Yato wouldn’t waste all their money AGAIN).
I-Pin and Yukine get on like a house on fire. Lambo is jealous until he finds out Yukine likes the same music (which I-Pin detests) and everything’s good.
Tsuna, Luffy and Yato’s deep love for their friends would definitely play a part in their relationship. Family is number one, and while they are definitely some of the most important people in their lives family comes first. Everybody runs off from time to time, but they always come back to Italy, and are very, very happy with each other.
I love both of them for the stories they’d make, and think TsunaLuffyYato could have some seriously good relationship dynamic and chemistry if handled right.
Why u gotta make me write plotbunnies and headcanons, Adel??? Now I’m in too deep *sobs*- but also thank you so much for the wonderful opportunity. I have a few more ships to savour now!
