Two for One! DGM OCS
Good Evening! I've gotten the request to review two dgm ocs by the name of Hui and Christina from a lovely anon! Let's begin!
First up is Hui! Not really finding any bio information really but he looks really interesting. One thing I question is why his uniform coat doesn't cover his belly button. Doesn't he get cold? Other than that, his uniform makes sense. More tight fitting to fit with his fighting style I guess. I like it and I think it fits well within the dgm universe. On another note, not sure if it's official, but it seems like Hui has a male lover. It would be uncommon to be open about any homosexual relationships during the 19th centruy but due to dgm taking place in a "fictional" version, I'm not really sure if there would be such a taboo on a relationship like that.
Onto the other requested oc, Christina Tolken! By just looking at her full body reference, my only concern is the loose hair and tailcoats. Won't they get stuck? I hope not for the safety of this oc! Christina has a full bio so I'll go over that next. Looking over her personality, I find that it's nice to see why she acts a certain way. After reading her whole history, it's no surprise she seems stand-offish! This woman has been through a lot of hardships. Kudos for how detailed you got in writing all of this. I would have liked to have more information on how this "Sage" character came into her life though, since she seems so unsocial. I find it a bit over powered how her innocence allows her to detect akuma - I don't really understand the technical aspects of it. I think its a unique idea of infusing innocence into her archery equipment though but the whole she can't receive damage but feels the pain thing is a bit iffy in my opinion. I would need a more detailed explanation of the how it works with akuma and noah attacks.
