Not really a haikaveh analysis but I think a lot of people forget that Kaveh is mathematically (and probably scientifically) smarter than Alhaitham.

There deff has been one or two moments where Alhaitham had to ask Kaveh for confirmation on something, or just ask about a fact he didn't know, and Kaveh ALWAYS feels like such a smart ass for them. Idk I just think we as a fandom need to focus more on the differences in their intelligence

THIS THIS and also the fact that kaveh worked a lot harder in school!!!!!

a lot of haitham’s intelligence came by him naturally. he picked up certain topics very quickly and easily and he stuck to his comfort zone / things that are interesting to him. kaveh in comparison struggled a little more in school because he pushed himself very hard to go above and beyond to learn as much as he could, even if it was more difficult for him to understand. and honestly, i think he’s better off for it.

i don’t necessarily think that haitham has the diligence required to spend his time deeply learning and understanding something he doesn’t find interesting or valuable, whereas kaveh i feel has much bigger appreciation for learning as a whole. haitham is very very good at a few small things, and kaveh may not quite reach that level in anything, but his understanding of scholarly concepts is much wider than haitham’s.

kaveh dove headfirst into his studies and learned as much as he could about everything, haitham locked in on a few different topic and didn’t spread out much unless he saw benefit in it.

haitham comes across an interesting passage in his book, calls kaveh over to see. kaveh drapes himself over the back of the couch and absentmindedly wraps his arms around haitham’s shoulders while looking.

kaveh is up late drawing. haitham walks into the room in order to draw kaveh out, but stops and puts his hand on kaveh’s back while listening to kaveh explain his draft.

both subtly lean on each other in public when they’ve been standing for a long time.

haitham burying his head in kaveh’s shoulder after a particularly overstimulating day at work.

kaveh bumping their shoulders and knees together while they’re out with tighnari and cyno.

haitham giving kaveh back massages after staying up entirely too late and falling asleep at his desk again.

these two cannot keep their hands off of each other and at this point i don’t even know if they realize it.
