I took two babies out for a walk to the shop today,
and I got a lot of stares. A teenage girl asked if they were mine (which makes sense since I'm white and they're coloured, so like she thought I'm married to a black man), and then had the opportunity to share the gospel with her in my explanation about the orphanage.
A 30 something black woman asked me who to contact to adopt babies like them! Yay!
I didn't realize how many opportunities to talk about God and adoption the walk would bring. I think my American accent makes them more receptive too. I think I'll make this a regular thing!
