We will be posting a few tracks from Death’s Gambit instead of a devlog today!
This track plays during one of our most stressful bossfights.
Like most of the boss fight music, this piece starts with a rhythmic idea. Simply put, the rhythm is divided into three groups of three followed by one group of four (making it an implied 13/8, for all you nerds out there). The strings follow this rhythm definitively, while the brass and choir play long phrases clearly in four. As the title suggests, this music accompanies one of the darker and more intense fights in the game.
