The day is done by the time Guy finishes dealing with the construction and getting things back on track, not to mention some on-the-fly training on controlling their thoughts and their constructs along with them. As much as Guy’s actually enjoying this temporary job of trying to keep shit together for the corps, part of Guy’s mind is on Kyle and that moment and that kiss.
He still can’t believe it, playing the moment over again and again in his head when Kyle told him he had feelings for Guy, too. it’s all been such a whirlwind from Oa’s destruction to the mission to thinking he’d lost Kyle to realising just what Kyle meant to him, just how important Kyle really is to him and after that, Guy knows he doesn’t wanna just let it go.
He heads straight to Kyle’s when he’s finishes, powering down his ring as he strides up to Kyle’s door, revealing a simple t-shirt and jeans. Guy doesn’t hesitate before knocking on the door before he shoves his hands in his pockets, waiting for Kyle to answer. When the door swings open, he can’t help but grin at the sight of him, and it takes everything he’s got to not gather Kyle right up into his arms. “Hey, uh - Just wanted to ask y’if I can kiss ya again? Y’know, no recruits to interrupt this time, figured it might be better than last time.”
