oooh ok would love to see something for tara maclay + apple. but if you're more comfy in trc I'm also down for gansey + beach.

So I do have an idea for the Tara one but am going to need a few days to play around with it and see if it's fruitful, whereas the Gansey one came to me easily so am posting the latter here + on ao3 right now and if I end up posting something for the former later I'll tag you <3.

“What are you thinking about?” asked Helen. 

“Glendower.” replied Gansey. 

His sister snorted. “Why am I surprised? You know, most teenage boys have other things on their mind on a trip to the beach.”

“Well, I am not most teenagers.” “No, you're not. I can never tell if that’s a good or bad thing with you.”

Gansey returned his attention to the water. There was something about watching the tide roll out that quieted him, not the way Henrietta did, but it was the next best thing.

“Missing your bride to be?” asked Helen, as if reading his mind. 

“I miss my home, yes.”

Helen didn’t scoff at Gansey’s calling Henrietta his home, she merely fixed him with a curious gaze. “What is it about that place?”

“You wouldn’t understand.”

“Probably not. But I’m glad whatever you see in it is there for you, honestly.” Gansey believed her. There were two people he trusted to be honest with him, and they were Helen and Ronan. And he only trusted one of those two people to be entirely straightforward with him."
