i think, what will happen, is that he’ll be reintroduced, people will be like “OHH YEAH AMON’S BACK YEAHH!!” then the entire fandom will focus back onto tsukiyama who has yet to appear and completely forget about amon ever being there

its just the way it is, he’ll probably get more fans, yeah, but im sure he’ll still be forgotten by many  in the end
