“Welcome home, my son. We missed you.” 

Some art I (finally) did of L41 Mega and the deceased L12′s. I’ve had this idea in my head since January, when I heard that Mega was missing, but only now was able to get it out onto paper, even though I’ve been drowning in homework. 

The whale facing right is L41 Mega (missing and presumed deceased Jan 24, 2020) and from top to bottom on the right side (facing left) is L12 Alexis (deceased 2012) L114 (offspring of L77 Matia, died 2010), L11 Squirty (died 2000) and her offspring L64 Radar (died 1985),  L42 Mozart (very bottom front male, died 1994), and L10 Orkum (who's behind Mozart, died 1997). 

I hope everyone continues to stay safe and healthy.

L41 Mega

“Unfortunately, L41 was not present for the entire encounter. Given his age and that he looked a little thin in our January 2019 encounter, we fear he may be gone and will consider him missing unless he shows up unexpectedly in an upcoming encounter. “ - Center for Whale Research Encounter Report Email that I got this morning. 

With that being said, I hope that he is seen soon and that he was just off by himself for some reason. Fingers crossed that he’s alive.

L41 Mega L41 Mega was declared missing on January 24, 2020 after a Center for Whale Research encounter with the rest of his family group. He wasn’t with the rest of the L12′s and researchers fear that he is deceased. Unless he pops up in a future encounter, he will remain listed as missing and possibly deceased. 

The Mega I made is 5 1/8 inches long and made out of polymer clay. He is painted with Acrylic paint. I am working on getting all of the deceased SRKW sculpted. All I need is one Identification shot of them and maybe an eye patch for the whale.  I WILL TAKE REQUESTS IF YOU WANT ME TO SCULPT A SPECIFIC WHALE. IT CAN BE EITHER A LIVE WHALE OR A DECEASED ONE. 

I have currently sculpted J1 Ruffles, J50 Scarlet, and now L41 Mega.
