Transforming  this French Provincial buffet with a little chalk paint and French Lime paint turned out to be a true beauty.  This buffet was in great shape but was just lacking in beauty.  As we all know, people no longer want plain wood furniture pieces, they want to give them a makeover and bring out the beauty with paint.

Sometimes a furniture piece is so ugly you need to hide how plain and boring it really is.  I used lime paint to help give this desk the makeover it really needed.  

I love how the lime paint gave this desk the perfect mix of solid color on the base and the blended look of the lime paint.

Shell Accent Table~ French Lime Paint!

I made over this plain shell accent table with French Lime Paint by Maison Blanche Paint Company.

I love this French Lime Paint and how you can manipulate it to look layered and aged.  I never took a before photo of this one.  It was that 1980’s golden oak look, which was extremly popular and not so much now.  

I used the color Printemps and sealed it with a white Lime Wax from Maison Blanche.
