Debut psychological thriller — just out on Amazon
📖 “A body in the river is only the beginning…”
Hi everyone, I haven’t had much time to write here lately, but I have an excuse — I’ve been preparing for my book release on Amazon. And I did it. A small step for one person, but a huge one for me as an author.
My journey took 8 months — from realizing I could make this happen to finally sending the book out into the world. It was exciting, insightful, but also completely draining. I almost stopped talking to friends and devoted all my energy to publishing. It was a dream.
By profession and vocation I’m a psychologist — and that shapes what and how I write. In my stories, I open doors into the human mind… though some of those doors might be better left shut.
The protagonist of my debut, Holden Ashford, is a young profiler with a difficult background and a sea of personal struggles. On the surface, he seems sharp and difficult, but that’s just the first impression. His real problem is his youth: even with a doctorate, his status isn’t taken seriously. He has to fight for his place, prove himself, and show his worth in order to be heard.
In a way, I feel like Holden myself. Entering this new space, I have to start from scratch, rebuild everything as an author. I already walked this path once — in another language, where readers welcomed my hero and Labyrinth. Now I dare to hope I can do it again here.
