（ •°• ⚠ •°• / ⭑ ）did cash wanna be out and about right now ? personally, nah. they could use a nap or six, especially after the horrors of the darkhold nearly got them. it was like playing a game on that one mode where every fucking stat is on the high and beyond, and you gotta finish all the levels with the very one health bar you got. when the dome broke and the sun's light poured in, it felt like a big ass victory sign. but now was the epilogue, and though they'll never explicitly show it, seeing some of the people dead … it was fucked up. which was why they were out today, putting away ‘buzz’ and just being cash to promote the queens event since they'd be dj'ing for it.
“ ey; you want a flyer, father … wait, are you like a real priest or is that a kinky thing ? ” the bee vigilante tilts their head as they notice the collar and all that; father was hot, that was for damn sure, which made them question whether or not it was just practice for pride or if he was the real deal walking by. if it was the latter, it kind of didn't matter if they got told they were going to hell ( didn't believe in all that anyways. )

What had the world come to? An endless darkness seemed to overtake the city, creatures one could only see in media were now out and about and terrorizing the city and Dominic - as a member of the esteemed Sovereign Seven - was kept busy. It was expected of him to do what he could to protect the city, to protect the denizens that lived there and to stop the onslaught, but there was only so much he could do. While the zombies were able to easily be killed by flames, thank fuck that was something the pieces of media got right about them, the winged beasts and other creatures didn't seem to be too deterred by them... But at least the vast majority of creatures within the hoards were zombies, so he could prevent them from getting to important places by creating literal fire walls around them.
But keeping those flames from getting out of control and spreading where he didn't want them to required a lot of energy. More energy than he had, especially given the amount of fire walls he had created to keep certain places from being destroyed, so he had enlisted the help of the fire department to help contain them to avoid fire damage to the buildings at his expense.
After putting in a call to other heroes in the group chat, hoping others knew of other safe havens that needed to be guarded from the hoards, he had heard the plight that Whisper gave. That people were in the library, with no power and no heat, and Solaris... Well, at first Solaris didn't think it was something he needed to focus on. After all, he was trying to fight the bigger picture... But the more he thought about it, the more he realized that this would look good for him. Swooping in to help a library, a place of learning, and the people that were in it.
Of course, his first thought was that people could just burn the books to keep warm - like they did in The Day After Tomorrow - but if he could help them with their heat and power situation... Well, that'd be more people to follow him and sing his praises when this shitfest was over. If it would ever be over, anyway.
Arriving at the library, Solaris sent a message to Whisper to let him know he arrived before he walked in and was greeted with gasps as people recognized who he was. "Oh my God, it's Solaris!" "Wow, he's hotter in person..." "Well, yeah, he controls fire..." "Not what I meant." As people approached, asking him if he was coming to save them, Solaris smiled and moved to put his hands on someone's shoulder. "I'm going to do my best to keep you safe," he answered truthfully just as Whisper came in. "Ah, Whisper. I heard you had protected these citizens and kept them safe... Any thing I can do to help you?"
