WHERE: madison belle ball WITH: @laciecooper
Nerves hadn’t quite managed to take over Andy and for that he was grateful. His dark blue suit was pressed and still managed to fit him despite having it for over 5 years and his shoes were shined just hours earlier in all his prep to head to the ball. Well, first he had to get his date.
Going out in public with Lacie was something Andy was ready to do. It felt like going together would make the whole thing they were doing a bit more official. His parents were going to be there like they were every year and though Andy promised to stop by and say hi, he wanted something a bit less formal for Lacie’s first meeting with them, already planning a dinner at his parents place the next week for them all to meet. Making sure Copper was fed and good for the night, Andy headed out and made his way towards Lacie’s in his truck. The tapping of his thumbs across the steering wheel gave him something to concentrate on the short drive over instead of worrying about what could go wrong.
With a slam to his truck door, Andy jogged his way up the walk-way to Lacie’s and knocked. It felt something like prom with the formality of everything and he’d almost bought her a corsage in his haste to get everything in a row before realizing he didn’t need one. Bracing himself as Lacie opened the door, he whistled lowly at the sight of her and almost pushed her back inside. “God you look good,” he sighed, taking in the deep v of the dress that ran down her sternum to the long slit up her thigh. “We don’t have to go, you know. We can just go back into yours and forget about the ball.”
