i was thinking earlier if meliodas was pacifism and he had anti-aging magic on him, that could be why hed be able to bypass the effects of the commandment (effectively making him like unstoppable), and then lost it at his betrayal, itd get around this whole narrative issue. but that doesnt make much sense either so idk, i hope nakaba explains it :/c it seems like a pretty big detail for him to miss so i dont think itll end up being a plot hole, but who knows
