1. What book has had a profound effect on you? Hmm, this Lithuanian book "Dievų miškas" left me thinking lots, also Lord of the Flies, and obviously, ASOIAF. 2. Is Under the Dome any good? I have it downloaded but not sure if I should bother watching it :)

To be honest it's not really that good. Maybe the thing that won't let me enjoy this series is that I read the book and the differences are bothering me a little, but maybe that's just me. If I were you I'd give it a go, but don't get your hopes high - there are only two episodes so far, the Pilot was good but this new episode not so much. At least you are not going to waste much time - it's a mini-series so there's going to be only 13 episodes, I think. :)
